About Us

Ibiza Swim was established in 2006 by Ruth Osborn - swimmer, former lifeguard and all round water enthusiast. She is a fully qualified and insured UK Amateur Swimming Association swim instructor and holds the Royal Lifesaving Society National Rescue Test Certificate for Teachers and Coaches as well as a current HSE approved certificate in First Aid.

A competitive swimmer since childhood, she currently competes with, and coaches, the Ibiza Masters swim team - a dynamic, international team of fifteen. Ruth presently holds the Balearic Records for 50m and 200m breaststroke, ranking fourth in Spain in her category. She is also proud to coach Club Natacio Portus, a team of twenty children aged eight to fourteen, in San Antonio.

In addition to this she is a REPs Level 3 qualified Advanced Fitness Instructor with a CYQ Level 3 certifcate in Nutrition and Weight Management. She works with Ibiza Personal Trainer and is honoured to be one of In:Spa's team of prestigious trainers.
